The weather is always nice and the winters are very mild.
A less crowded island is Skopelos as the majority is covered by pine forests. There are resorts along the coast but they are scattered. While not many people stray here it is a popular day trip from the nearby islands.
Santorini is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Greek islands. This island was formed from a volcano eruption and you can still see an offshore active volcano. This island offers much more luxury than many of the other islands and cruise ships tend to stop off.
